This was on our second visit to Lough Inagh, the first been 15 years ago! As for our first visit hospitality was exceptional. We were offered tea/coffee and scones on arrival sitting in front of a beautiful blazing fire. We had dinner in the bar the first night which was very enjoyable. We had a Garden Package so we visited Kylemore Abbey and the Victorian Gardens. On our return to Lough Inagh after a long day out walking we were again offered tea/coffee and scones beside the fire. We dined in the dining room that night and had a lovely meal, both enjoying beautiful fish dishes. Breakfast was also lovely, with plenty of choice. Room was lovely with a beautiful view of the Lake. Lovely place to visit if you enjoy walking. The staff were extremely friendly and informative of things to do. We won't leave it as long to return.

This was the perfect place to stay for us- complete with a lovely, cozy and clean room, beautiful views, thorough hospitality and delicious breakfast to begin our mornings. Tea in the parlors was a bonus. I would highly recommend this gem to any travelers. A very good value as well.

We had a wonderful stay at this classic grand old hotel with all the best modern conveniences. It was a happy surprise in the wilds of rural Connemara. Dominic and all of his staff were always professional but also warm funny and very helpful. The dining was spectacular with an emphasis on local treats and a very good wine list. We will be back soon for some fishing with Head Gillie Colin Folin on picturesque Lough Inagh which is about 100 feet out the front door.

Lough Inagh Lodge has, for many years, been a very special special place for our family. the wonderful warm welcome, the gorgeous food, the fishing and of course the truly stunning scenery. Having travelled the world, i can honestly say that Lough Inagh is way up there in the "most beautiful place in the world" stakes.

We enjoyed Lough Inagh: Our room was clean, we had an instant snack upon arrival, then ushered into our room. Dinner was well organized, food good (not highest order but but very good) breakfast was well organized and excellent. The owner is skilled at her duties, amiable and we intend to return.

We loved our stay at Lough Inagh Lodge. The staff and service were great, accommodations were spacious and comfortable, and the food (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. The lodge is well appointed, with beautiful common rooms with fires blazing at night. If you're planning to explore the Connemara peninsula, the location is central, and beautifully situated right on Lough Inagh. Highly recommend!
