We offer from the lodge’s kitchen a varied menu featuring only the best locally sourced ingredients. These are carefully sourced from the finest local suppliers.
Such as award winning Mc Geough's Butchers. This is a family run business established in 1971 is a local butchers with a modern interpretation of the ancient crafts of curing and smoking meats. McGeough are also award winners – from the Irish Craft Butchers for his specialty meats and from the Irish Food Writer’s Guild for his air-dried Connemara hill lamb.
We also have D.K Oysters based in ballinakill bay in EU approved hatcheries. There, they are fully tested to ensure every oyster is in perfect health to thrive in the pristine waters of Ballinakill Bay. They enjoy a unique habitat in the sheltered bay, influenced and refreshed by the North Atlantic drift and other subsurface currents.
Seafood and wild game dishes are specialities of the house and are complemented by an excellent wine list.
